With the amazing Yvonne from Stabbo & Sandiacre Spikey Rescue today. 

Words fail me when I meet folks like Yvonne (a former nurse) who cares for around 120 infant, injured or sick hedgehogs a year.

A wildlife champion - in my opinion.

Once widespread, hedgehog numbers have declined to the point where they are now listed as ‘vulnerable’ on Britain’s Red List of Mammals. They need as much help as can give ‘em!!!

While we chatted about her passion for helping ‘hogs, she received a call about yet another injured hedgehog. 

Into her care

A call was immediately acted on by Yvonne who took this young hedgehog to an incubator to build up its strength..

She received it and immediately whisked it away to an incubator back at her home.
