The Drinker..

Amongst the most-eccentric in appearance, The Drinker is a great favourite of ours whenever it comes to the moth light.

Few other moths have a hedgehog-like profile.

Anthropomorphising like mad here, it conjures up a Jimmy ‘Schnozzle’ Durante image lending it an endearing personality.

It’s a grassland moth.
