30 Days Wild!!
30 Days Wild is the UK's biggest nature challenge. This June, choose one wild thing a day (or a few each week) - from giving nature a helping hand to simply noticing the wild on your doorstep.
Day #1 - utterly gorgeous little owl chicks ringed during our sweep, under licence, of owl boxes on the local farm.

Four of the six chicks hatched in the now-veteran box sited on the oak behind Bill and Rich.
Our best year yet for owlets…
We built and sited the little owl box in question ten years ago and it has been successful in each breeding season since. Six chicks this year!!

We think that over thirty chicks have been raised in this box over the last ten years.
Very proud of that.
