Merveille du Jour
Out with the moth light as we enter early autumn.
Overcast and drizzly.
Twenty six macro moths of eighteen species.

Its’ patterning provides excellent camouflage against lichens.
This is a common native moth found in deciduous woodland. It lays its eggs on oak.
